On the 6th of October 2021, Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji organized the Entrepreneur Project of Ornamental Fish and Aquascape, which is an entrepreneur project for students in the Aquaculture Department, Faculty Of Marine Science and Fisheries UMRAH.
The students that participate in the Entrepreneur Project of Ornamental Fish and Aquascape are 31 students. Students culturing the ornamental fish, created mini aquascapes and make the online exhibition of their product on the social network.

The Entrepreneur Student Empowerment Project 2021 batch 1 is the fieldwork project for the students to help micro, small, middle businesses by assisting the local business in their surrounding neighbourhood to require business permits and help to promote the product on social media. That means a great cooperation opportunity for the labour market and the university.

Kalimantan Institute of Technology held an Entrepreneurship Webinar with the theme “Indonesian Entrepreneurial Factory: The Role of Higher Education and LPDP” on the 6th July: The Role of Higher Education and LPDP”. The webinar was held online through Video Conference Zoom Meeting and Live Streaming Youtube media.
Three are the take-home ideas shared in the webinar:
- Everyone has the opportunity to be an entrepreneur, and creativity is key to take advantage of all the opportunities.
- Taking real action, and not just a mere word is necessary to start a business.
- We do is expected to provide benefits for many people.
Entrepreneurship is the ability to understand the market, what the customer wants and understand where the customer shift is going: and businesses develop to create sustainability.
Udayana University organised a product exhibition that took place in its hall but with the opportunity to connect online, on the 9th of April. The event aimed at encouraging the downstreaming of research products and research innovations to the industry. The event targeted lecturers, students, micro-small-medium enterprises, government and institutional bodies and local university partners. 55 people participated in presence, and 160 online
The Business Plan Competition was a series of activities for students to develop creative ideas in various fields that took place in March and April 2021. The Business Plan Competition encouraged students to be able to produce products with economic value and also of beneficial value. Not only that, students have been encouraged to plan the business model of the products to be sold, so as to comprehensively build a systematic business.
The KMW 2021 Coaching of Competition invited speakers who provided education and experience in the Business Plan Competition. 62 students participated.
The second intensive course training of the SMART Project took place on 29th, 30th and 31st March 2021 targeting more than 40 Indonesian trainees. Entitled “Knowledge transfer strategies and exploitation of research results” this 2nd workshop contributed to share examples of knowledge transfer strategies in EU universities, and to help Indonesian participants to get familiar with the HEIs’ Research and Technology commercialization activities. The training was held and recorded on the Zoom platform.
