In order to support student business activities, the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) held an Entrepreneurship Grant program to provide capital assistance to student startup businesses. This activity began with the acceptance of business proposals attended by 20 teams of students. This proposal was then reviewed and selected by a reviewer team consisting of entrepreneurship supervisors from the Student and Alumni Center (PKA), itk’s Technology Business Incubator (IBT) team, and the chairman of the ITK cooperative. Besides providing capital assistance, assistance is also carried out in the form of monitoring and evaluation (Monev) to ensure student business runs as well as discussing the problems faced. The first Monev was held on Sunday, November 29, 2020. In addition to the team of business people, this event was also attended by supervisors and reviewers. On this occasion, each team presented their business progress and plans to be carried out next.
