The manager of entrepreneurship activities of the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) held an internal Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) Student Business Innovation Competition (KIBM) 2020. This event was held to monitor and evaluate the implementation of student businesses that received grants from the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia through the National Achievement Center. Kibm which was first implemented this year was opened for three categories, namely: disability category, Academic, and Vocational.
This year, ITK sent as many as 10 student business proposals that have been running for at least 6 months. Two proposals were funded and received funding of a total of Rp 23,500,000,-. These funds are used by students to grow the business they run. The two groups that passed the KIBM funding are the Scylla Farm team, namely the egg crab cultivation business with the method of injecting the hormone tiroxine, and Dipasar.Online, a digital-based business that provides the daily needs of the community such as vegetables, fruits, fish, and others.
